In our restaurant we offer different specialities (also vegetarian), but it's not a secret that we are well known and aknowledged for Eritrean food.

In this little country in the Horn of Africa, the basic food is ingera, a type of bread with an acid base, made of different flours fermented for 2/3 days.

Over this bread, which looks like a crepe but tastes a bit sour, we serve zighni, a stew spiced with berbere, a mixture of flavours which gives to the meat an unmistakable taste.

All of this comes with legumes creams, salad, spicy vegetables, steamed or oven-baked.

As an alternative to this Eritrean dish, you can find Cous Cous or Afro Combo.

Afro Combo is less known than Cous Cous, but it is just as tasty.

It is a combo dish, with a base of steamed rice, wheat or spelt, and other specialties from all over Africa.

An example? meatballs made of beef and mint, steamed turkey with African citrus fruits, steamed lamb marinated in South African wine and spices, pepper chicken woth fresh salad and mustard sauce.
